Apology

first of all, sorie to all who had been coming into my blog and have seen the same thing for the past 2 months..i just didnt have the time or the inspiration to blog dats all..u can say i'm lazy but yea, its true XP

its the month of march and exams are pouring in on all the people i noe..Greenians are having their exams this saturday, Teresians' exams are over, Lodgians coming soon..now all that's left is the Josephians..it seems that St. Jo's always the last school to have their term exam, seeing that my exams are gonna start right after the holidays=.= which means the holidays will not be FUN or RELAXING as i thought it would be...so yea, the books and the midnight candle for me for this whole 3 weeks of intense studying..

same goes with my music exam, its my final grade and my exam is in 1 month, the trial is during the holidays for pete's sake!!! *dies* im struggling to juggle between studies, music, as well as both BOL and Empowered activities since im gonna dance for Empowered and play the keyboard for BOL for the Fund-raising Dinner for the building of the new Pastoral Centre, which is rumored that Empowered Dance and Drama Ministry will have their own ROOM!!! OMG!!! a dance room just for us!! YAYY!!=)

still, life is as hectic as usual..there's the upcoming ASC and since im the head of the music ministry i have to get ready everything including compose a song, which until now is not complete..luckily, i have James on my side to help me compose the song, which leads me now to setting dates for practices..bleh..i have to find a way to do all these before the May holidays..

okay, enough crap from me..once again im sorie for not bloggin for the past 2 months..i promise to blog anytime if i can/free..

A Year has gone..so are my posts...

its been a month now since i've updated my blog, mainly cos i was damn lazy and busy with preps for Break Free Dance Party. i apologize to all of you who have been waiting so patiently for me to post up whatever i have to say. so here goes nothing..SORRYYYYYYY!!!!! should that be enough? XP haha..

first of all, i still don't know what i have to say in this post so i'll just randomly type out whatever that is on my mind and leave it for you to read..Deal??=3

the start of the year came rough for me cos of an incident that happened after coming back from Break Free Dance Party involving Evelyn and Julie..i don't want to go into details in this matter. just something that i still feel guilty until now..then came school=.= having to wake up at 5.15 am every morning is sooooo crappy..the first thing that was said to me when i went to school was, "Quick, go duty liao!!" for the ones that do not know, yes, i am a prefect..and the last thing i want to do is do my duty..being in the senior year makes me lazy to do all that stuff, like catching students smoking or without nametags and whatever..its just two weeks now and i have to face a mere 6 months more..how bad can it be rite? *sarcastic laugh*

this is to those who have partners already as in couple partners..heh..i've been asking God why do You keep making me sad? Why do i get sad when i can't see the one i love? i still haven't gotten that answer yet..i've asked around my school, my close friends mostly, what its like when they don't see their gfs..im not supposed to be sad, but happy..i made that deal already but it seems that that deal has been broken..cyril told me he misses his one, but he gets to see her every friday before ycs..everywhere i go i hear people missing another person..i have that feeling as well but i cant seem to take it away and i think its getting to me..and i think the Devil is playing a part in pulling me down when God is supposed to be carrying me up in His arms when i'm down..its taken its toll lately and i think shes feeling it as well..i keep praying that God will help me find my way back into His arms and continue to be the happy-go-lucky guy i am before..she told me this quote that has been stuck in my head since she said it, "distance makes the heart fonder" and i guess shes rite..i think for now i just have to deal with whatever i have in front of me and not think so much of it..the love will not go away, i know for sure..

if i have offended anyone who read this post, i deeply apologize. im a changed man. i don't want to hurt anyone before like i hurt her before.

Day 2 in Kpg Selampit + Pics of Day 1

since i cudnt keep my promise of posting up 3 days in 1, i'll split them up into 3 separate posts..judging by the title up there, i'll put in sum pics of day 1 since ppl have asked me, "y no pics wan??"

there are the pics of day 1..well, just some of the pics lar..don't blame me for not taking dat much photos of ppl XP..i'd rather steal some of the pics from damien's multiply page or friendster page..lol..

okay, now for day 2..day 2 started out with all the participants waking up to the sound of the bell ringing at 6.30 am by lester. i woke up earlier so that i won't need to wait for ppl bathing in the morning=p by the time i got changed, i looked out the window and saw the participants rushing to the toilet just to have their morning bath..alex on the other hand didnt bathe coz he bathed 8 midnight with cyril??O.0 after bathing, everyone gathered in the chapel to wait for the girls to come from their foster families houses. all the girls came in time, so we just had to wait for kak lucy to come..and as usual, malaysian time=.= kak lucy came a few minutes later, and before we had our breakfast, we had a morning prayer led by kak lucy to officialy kick start our 2nd day of the camp..i didnt eat breakfast, cos i wasnt reali dat hungry=3 riiiteee..i just stayed in the chapel with alex and played the instruments..gettin everyding ready for praise and worship after that..

we started off with all the fast paced songs like "time has come", "allah bangkit", and "mandalilang" just to energize the participants..then came the 2nd session by Catechist Dominic..i slept throughout the whole session honestly..sorie yea Mr Dominic..i duno y i was reali tired dat day..julie told me to go to the back and rest for the day..i didnt want to at first, but sorry to say, i did finally..the fatigue got hold of me..a few minutes later, ayie joined me as well..we both slept thru the 4th session, but i woke up to ayie's snoring=.= i re-entered the chapel with tired eyes=3 and forced myself to listen to the sharing..hehe..

after that, we had a short 5-minute break before we had games led by angeline..YAYY!!! finally, sumding to kip me awake XP the first game was simple: all the groups had to make a single line and the first person in front were brought to the back and were given a message..the rules are simple..pass on the message from one person to another in the line and see whos the fastest!! XD

then came the second game..each group were given a deck of cards, and they had to build a pyramid from those cards..obvious enough XP..random shouts and screams could be heard as teams "tried" to sabotage each other..haha..group 1 did a 3D pyramid and it was so cool to look at, but unfortunately, we couldnt give them the best pyramid prize..sorie guys!! b i apologize because i do not have the picture of their 3D pyramid..lol..sori e yea=P

after all the games, we were dead tired..well for me of course lar..so we had plenty of time before our dinner and the participants were given time to prepare for their pesta rohani presentation..i had to be like a tauke for a coffee shop..y? cos sum groups wanted to sing as part of their act..and they came up to me placing orders for songs like its some kin d of coffee shop where the waiter goes up to you and asks for your drink order..except this was kinda different as they came to me, not vice versa^^ reduce my work..lol..lotsa songs were chosen, but most were the same, especially "every move i make"..hah..

the afternoon went away just like that, and then came the evening and then the night..most of the participants rushed to bathe while some others stayed in the chapel to finish up their preparations for the pesta rohani..we had our dinner at 6.30pm and the food was AWESOME!! haha..then, the highlight of the day came: PESTA ROHANI!!! according to lester, dis year's pesta rohani was the best compared to the previous years..i don't reali noe but i trust his word for it^^ bona's group kick start the whole pesta rohani with the fast moving song "hari ini" and "call me happy"..everyone was jumping in the chapel, so was lester XD both alban and i were on the altar, now a stage, jumping with our instruments in our hands=D again..i don't have pics of us jumping sorry..=.= but i can show you the environment of the participants having fun^^

PARTY TIME!!!

we partied until very late that night..my most memorable moment that night was having my fingers bandaged and breaking one of grace's guitar string while rocking it XP my deepest and most sincere apologies to grace..the guitar was only six days old and one of its strings already broke cos of me..the song was "hari ini", apparently, i forgot the chords and when i went down the stage to look at my book, i strummed the guitar to finish up the song..i heard a tweak in the guitar for a split second and the guitar string broke, hit my fingers, and hit my face(but i din feel it hit my face, i found the scar on my face on thursday=3) adeline and julie helped bandaged my fingers..but i was not alone, alban had blisters in his previous blisters after all that rocking out during pesta rohani..so he was bandaged oso^^ ahh..i'll never forget that experience..

after a tiring nite, i decided to rest my fingers as well as my whole body..i din crash tho..i thot i wud crash after all that rocking but to my surprise i still got sum energy left to bboy with iain..haha..

after bboying, i stayed up with ayie to eat sum mee as supper..then went back inside the chapel to sleep..i learnt my lesson to not sleep with the instruments dis time, in case i wake kelvin up and make him paranoid again..so instead, i slept in the backroom, where ayie and i put our bags in..

the room was cold but i slept like a baby..well sort of lar..

then, thats the end of day2..day3 will be coming soon..be patient yea..still nid 2 recollect my memories so that i can blog about it^^

3 Days in Kampung Selampit

first of all, i just wanna send my deepest apologies to everyone cos i have not posted in a long time..hehe, was busy with all of the practices and practices and more practices needed for the kycs camp in kpg selampit..for all those who din go for the camp, it was held on the 17th to 19th november 2008..i don reali have the time to put in all the details from day 1 to day 3 unlike julie *cough* too free *cough* =p so i'll sum up everything in one LOOONGGGG post, so bear with me..

day 1 of the camp began with the registration of all the participants from all over kuching and it was held in the parish centre, in the "living room" area outside the library. I arrived there at about 6.40 am and to my surprise all my band members were already there..being the music leader for the camp, you can say dat i was abit malu wen i carried out my keyboard from the car=3 i was supposed to be there at about 6.30am but you know lar, malaysian time^^ so yea..at about 7.30am, almost all the participants and the core team members were at the gallery already but..there was one problem..kak lucy wasnt there yet=_= i saw julie panicking and kept looking at her phone, hoping kak lucy would call..butttt..she didnt until she sent a message to julie saying that she'll reach the parish at 7.45am. Julie panicked again cos we needed to get the projector screen from the office and kak lucy had the key..luckily, maurice managed to find sum1 to open the room and they got the screen..YAYY!!! few minutes later, kak lucy arrived..i cud see signs of relief on julie's face when kak came out of her kancil XP..

then..another person began to panic in that process as well..it was lester=_= apparently, the st.jo bus and the CLL bus have not arrived yet, they were supposed to be at the parish by 7.30am but it was 7.45 and both buses have not arrived yet..so lester panicked and so did julie..again..soon enuf, the buses came at the right time to save the day=3 so, everyone quickly did the registration and in less than 20 minutes all the participants were ready to board the buses..a morning prayer for safe journey was led by julie before we boarded the bus..again, splitting up the participants into the buses was hard work and lester was already drenched in his sweat..haha=p both buses were fully packed and us committees had to find a place to either sit down or stand..i stood in the middle of the bus under the sunroof of the bus..seeing that i was the music leader for the camp, my band had the privilege of being the first to board the bus, but i had to go in last cos im a committee member, and i had to give chance to the participants=_= nonetheless, the journey to kampung selampit took less than an hour and a half..so we were actually ahead of schedule^^

upon reaching st.gregory's chapel, selampit, lundu, the hospitality team led by brian went to work to clear the chapel..moving benches is not easy work okay?? if im not mistaken, all the benches were moved in 45 minutes and again, we were way ahead of schedule..my band and i went on with setting up our instruments, which took less than 10 minutes^^ once all our equipments were set up and sound checked, we just waited for all the participants to settle down..the participants were divided into 10 groups and because we were ahead of schedule, we gave them time to get to know each odr and brainstorm about their group name, motto, and group cheer..

i cant reali rmbr all the group names, but i can rmbr group 7, i dink..group 'Shining Star'..the only reason i can rmbr that group was because cyril and cam askd me how to do group cheer..lol..in the end, they came up with 'twinkle, twinkle little star' as their cheer XP..i was laughin my head off in at the side..hahaha..anyways, we had nothing to do after the introduction from all the groups so we did a little sing along before lunch..after lunch, was ice-breaking led by angeline..it was a game where everyone took a piece of paper and wrote each odrs nicknames, folded it and took a random one..once the signal was called, everyone had to look for the person with that nickname..cam was the only one hu was lucky enuf to take back his own paper XD

then came Fr.Simon Poh to celebrate mass with us..fortunately, the kampung people came in to join us^^ the mass unusually awesome cos it was celebrated in both bidayuh and english..quite confusing but nonetheless thrilling to hear the order of the mass being said in a foreign language=3 Fr.Simon guided us the whole way and it was funnn=)

after mass, we had a sharing with the seminarians..i was lucky enough to meet up with one of them when i went to the backroom to adjust the P.A. system..haha..they told their life stories of the journey in becoming a seminarian..then, they acted out a sketch for us..us committees had too much imagination and creativity so we came up with a conclusion..to become holy, u need to masuk pusat serenti (rehab) XP..lol..

it was already late in the afternoon and all the participants were briefed on the rules and regulations of the camp and were given a brief history of Joseph Cardijn by Kak Lucy..the teams then were given mahjong papers as part of kak lucy's programme..all teams were required to list down their expectations and contributions for the camp..and they had to present it in front of everyone..alot of laughs were let out during the presentations^^ after that, the participants were given a short break and dinner was served at 6.30pm..then came kak lucy's sharing, which was the first session of the day:Calling and Following..i bet everyone remembers the digi advertisement of ppl sayin "Hello?"

After another short break, everyone prepared for Taize..Taize is basically a community prayer originated from a Taize, France. According to Kak Lucy's explanation, it's not bound to a specific religion but most catholics practice this after the youth groups adopt this prayer method, which involves chanting and singing(copied from Julie) sorie Ju..i cudnt explain dat well so beta jz take from urs..haha..copywright from u yea=3

This was my first Taize experience..seriously..even my friends din believe that that was my first ever Taize..bona and i played our acoustic guitars during the Taize..we were situated in the centre of the chapel and the cross was placed there..the lights were out, it was realli dark, and all i cud c were ppl in their own world, chanting and singing..the chanting and singing were very calming and soothing and everyone was welcome to open themselves up to God..it took quite some time for me to open up cos i had to play the guitar and at the same time pray and worship God..bona let everything out after 'stay with me' so i had to continue without him..after a while, he got back on track and played, and then came my turn to pause from my playing and prayed to God,longing for His burning love and for the Holy Spirit to come into me..i cried and looked around me..i cud hear ppl cryin and i saw julie cryin oso..after a few minutes, i resumed where i stopped and just played and played until my fingers turned red..then kak lucy gave us a moment of silence where we were welcome to leave in silence or just stay there in prayer..i packed up my guitar and put it back to where the other instruments were..i then went to julie and comforted her..it took quite some time before julie stopped crying and i escorted her to her house and wished her goodnite..then i went back to the chapel and got ready for sleep..

Day 1 ended at 11pm after supper and all the girls went back to their foster families houses..Kelvin was paranoid that night, apparently ayie and i made too much noise while we slept at the instruments side..sorie kelvin for making you think that there was a ghost there=p hahaha..

I think one day's post is too long..i don dink i can sum up everyding in this post..haha, shudve changed the title..sorie cos i cudnt kip my promise^^ hahaa..i'll post up the next 2 days post later wen i have the time..i'll find time to do all that, i promise=3

holidays are boring but the camp was the BOMBB!!! ^^ be patient for the next post yea=3

November is here

the month of holidays is here..no more torments of school n studying, so as to speak.

this month has been nothing but more stress as the whole class got back our test results..i can say mine is not that bad all As except moral and bio..sux 2 b in my class rite nw..

our addmath teacher cudnt finish up d syllabus so we have 2 continue differentiation for dis hol 2 wiks until holiday..n i have a strong feeling dat she'll be giving us more homework dis coming hol..X_X'' i hate having 2 do homeworks especially wen its time of rest, probably will jz do it d day b4 school starts..lol..

nonetheless, this month and d nex month will b lots of fun, cz first thing, joseph cardijn camp!! YEAHH!! i'll b playing for the camp dis time hopefuli will do a gud job playin n nt disappoint my boss/coordinator of the camp, julie chow..:) its been a while since i've joined a camp, d last one i remembered was in form 1 wen i went up 2 bunan gega..quite an exciting and interesting camp and i hope dis upcoming camp will be so much beta!! =)

other than dat, nex month(december) will be my time 2 shine as an amateur bboy..hehe..coz on d 31st december i'll be performing wif a couple of my frens, including my sifu, derek, at the break free dance party..reali crucial 4 us 2 do it perfectly since its new years eve and we want to show wad we got hidden inside of us =3 will give an update on our practices d nex time i update my blog =)

oh, got to go practice now..hehe..

Update...

its been 2 weeks plus i've not updated my blog cos of my final exams which took 9 days.. 3 weeks of intense study and pressure really exhausted me so on the final day of the exams, i went out to watch MAX PAYNE!!! kesakitan maksimum YEA!! lol.. dats wad my fren, emman said. all the info in my head were released dat afternoon n i felt so free..my head literally felt lighter after releasing tension watching people getting shot n taking drugs dat we've never heard of before XD..

long story short, i'm happy dat the exam is finished..oyea..i forgot i did some doodling on my some of my papers during the exam. i only had time to doodle some of my test paper coz of the darn time limit i had after finishing one test paper..not the picasso type of picture but still da chibi type, if you know wad i mean.. for those who don't know wad chibi means.. chibi = super deformed and cute anime characters^^
